Brace yourselves Heat and Mavs fans for the 2011 NBA finals featuring two great franchise teams, Miami Heat and Dallas Mavericks. The scheduled Heat vs Mavericks best-of-seven championship game series already started last Tuesday, May 31 at the American Airlines Arena (Miami Heat Home Court), Miami, Florida. Heat took the 1 and 0 advantage over the Mavs.

What are your finals prediction NBA fanatics?

In 2006, both teams clash in their first finals match where the Heat won 4-2 against the Mavericks. That time, Miami was with Shaquille O’Neal still playing (who retired just this month). Now, it’s round two for both team, Miami and Dallas which is far different from last 5 years ago. A lot of exciting facts make this NBA finals more interesting than before. One of it is the team player aspect of Heat’s big three (Lebron James, Chris Bosh & Dwayne Wade) battle against Dirk Nowitzki, Jason Kidd and company. However, don’t underestimate Mavs as they were one of best in offense team in the league.

Miami Heat, no. 2 seeder and the 2011 east champion routs Philadelphia 76ers in the first round of playoff. It badly overthrows Boston Celtics in the semis and Chicago Bulls in the conference championship to advance to the finals. On the other hand, Dallas Mavericks, 2011 western conference champion defeated Portland Trail Blazers in the first round. On the conference semifinals, the team demolished former NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers 4-0 and stopped Oklahoma City Thunder in the conference finals.
