I am not so sure about the billions of users on Twitter. It is probably in the 10 of millions. I also have read that a lot of bloggers set up two, three or more accounts so help “spread” their influence around more.
In any case, that is surely a large number of people and where there is a lot of people, there’s a lot of traffic and hence, advertising revenue will be flowing.
Twitter is still growing and morphing so it will be interesting to watch what revenue opportunities still come from this platform.

I’d only promote tweets that are about stuff I like and use, like the Thesis etc.
But they don’t sponsor tweets yet ;(

I have been signed up for both, plus a few others. I have had more success with SponsoredTweets and Be A Magpie. MyLikes has not really done anything and it has been a bit disappointing as the opportunities given are merely pennies.

I have been using MyLikes and yeah, you really can make some bucks from it..especially when you have 75k to 100k followers…I wonder if the pay is even much better

I have quite a success with sponsoredtweets , adly too, with mylikes, not much. With magpie I am able to cashout twice, however after that I use all the money for advertising
it seems that sponsored tweets does not like my tweets. i haven’t gotten an opp from them
