There is this never ending question that has been thrown out into the void: why unwanted things are hard to get rid of? One very unwanted “visitor” in our lives is love handle. For those lucky people who are fortunate enough to not experience having this nasty bulge in the abs or stomach, love handles are excessive accumulated fats in our stomach area and abdomen (especially for women). They can also occur on our legs and thighs as well as under our arms just near the armpit.
Love handles are a result of lack of exercise, excessive unhealthy eating (unhealthy diet) and basically what we call “sedimentary” life style. There are already a lot of frustrated men and women out there who tried just about everything to get rid of these bumps and bulges with no effect. Let us now try to take a look some of experts’ advice on how to get rid of love handles fast.
Water
Believe it or not drinking plenty of water really helps. Water is the healthiest liquid you can possibly drink because it doesn’t contain harmful calories. Drinking a glass or two before every meal and a glass or two again an hour after every meal will make you feel full thereby naturally stopping you from eating more than what your body actually needs.
Healthy Diet and Lifestyle
While trying to get rid of those embarrassing love handles, it is also a great time for you to start a good, healthy diet. It also a perfect timing to change your lifestyle into something that could help you lose not only love handles but unwanted fats in different parts of your body as well.
Start by lessening your carb or carbohydrate intake. This is not a permanent thing that you should do as there are also studies that say carbs are actually good in maintaining a healthy body. But for now, as you are trying to get rid of those flabs and bulges then you have to do away with rice, bread and pasta for now. Healthier alternatives are whole wheat bread and brown rice if you really cannot last a whole day without them
Second is to start a good routine exercise. Commit yourself to a daily routine exercise dedicated to love handles alone. It doesn’t have to be done in gym and it doesn’t have to take you a full hour of exercising. Choose a program that is about 15-20 minutes a day and then increase the length of time as well as the level of difficulty as you progress.
Stop spending too much time in front of your computer or TV. At work, make sure you stand up every now and then and stretch your body. It’ll help if you do some sit ups and bending from time to time. Nothing fancy or difficult just moves that will keep your blood flowing.
Remember that love handles are fats accumulated over the years of having poor diet as well as not exercising. Follow the advice given above and you’ll be able to lose those unwanted love handles in no time.

How to Get Rid of Love Handles Fast,

Thanks for the read. Speaking of which, i think I should go and workout.
Getting rid of the flabs has been a burden to me even at my training, run and bike load. Key is really to do speicific core workouts.
I agree with Franc. I am still getting rid of my flabs hahaha!! I’m doing planks and starting to workout on my pushups.
I guess there are just some body types that has to work harder for 6 pack abs.
yup i need this
woohoo! I would like to have a body like this one.
I’m guilty!!! Hahahaha… I knoooow… why is it just so hard to get rid of those? I stopped working out for years and your post did remind me to do, start again, even by just walking.
i’m not use to do exercise but im so lucky i still dont have those.. eat a balanced diet and drinking lots of water is helping..
I agree with Franc, core work-outs would make a huge difference.
I’ve never dieted in my life but I do watch out that I reduce intake of food that are not healthy for me. Running for a year now, I noticed how much I’ve lost weight but the bulge remains. This month for the first time in my life, I’ll try the gym to work on sculpting this body, just to see how it works and if it will work! lol
Thanks for the motivating post!
Ugh! this will always be a challenge for me because i live a sedentary lifestyle. I know I should be working out. I just don’t have the discipline. Kudos those who do
It’s really a challenge getting rid of the love handles so far diet, cardio and core has been the best combination.
I want this kind of a body. Hehehehe. This is SEXY for me. ^_^
I needed this! Haha! Hopefully, soon!
i think I need to start with cuttin out carbs. I eat waayyy too much junk!
Hmm but this is to ‘get rid of love handles FAST’ right? Water is actually one of the reasons one would look bloated – especially in the abdominal section. For anyone looking to be lean FAST, there’s a couple of days (or more) dedicated to cutting water. You may already know that water retention is one of the biggest causes for a ‘soft’ look. Hydration IS important for long-term weight-loss (which includes losing love handles) but as far as ‘fast’ goes, I disagree with your point, sir. Water cutting isn’t the healthiest thing to do, but if it’s short-term results, then it can be necessary
Other than that, decent post. It’s always great to promote a healthy lifestyle, with love handles or none.

Never have I dream of having six packs, just a flat tummy like I used to have. That’s why I’m more into healthy food, just have to add more exercise or movement in my routine. :3
Every hard work we exert to make our body better is always worth the effort!! Let’s do this.

For me, the hardest to do is routine exercise! It requires not only time and effort but most importantly, commitment. Pwede bang puro water intake na lang? Haha.
