It isn’t uncommon to see tattoos on all of your favorite athletes, regardless of the type of sport that they like to compete in. Some have old tattoos that they have had for years, and others have tattoos that are correlated with their success and the sports that they represent. However, it is obvious that some athletes have many more tattoos than others, and a lot of people find these tattoos to be incredibly interesting to look at. One interesting fact is that tattoo remains to be a taboo in some Asian countries, as such some sports stars opt for having a tattoo removal done when they get famous, or simply try to hide it from public’s eyes.
There are a lot of sports stars out there that are covered in ink, these five reach the top of the list.
David Clinger, who is from Los Angeles, California, is a professional cyclist. However, he is a tad more noticeable on his bike than a lot of his competition is because he is completely covered in tattoos. Not only does he have tattoos on other parts of his body, but David Clinger also has a tattoo that covers his entire face. He also has a large, very noticeable tattoo on his neck. Sources say that he has been working on having some of these tattoos removed, however, but he still deserves a spot on this list due to his incredibly noticeable ink.
From Legnica, Poland, Popek Rak is a heavily tattooed mixed martial artist. Although he does not have any tattoos on the skin on his face or neck, his arms, back and torso are almost completely covered in ink. Even more shocking, however, is the fact that he has tattooed the whites of his eyes a bright, neon green.
As a baseball player from Torrance, California, Justin Miller looks like a pretty average guy in the face. When you catch a peek at the rest of his body, however, you can’t help but notice the wealth of colorful tattoos that cover him completely from his toes to his neck. Rumor has it that he would have went even farther with the tattoos if he could have gotten away with it while still keeping his career, and he was even brave enough to tattoo the inside of his lip.
Djibril Cissé is a highly talented soccer player from Arles, France, but many people think his tattoos are just as impressive as his soccer playing skills. Not only does he have full sleeves and a completely tattooed torso, but he also has a very large tattoo on his back, tattoos on a portion of his head and even a good amount of ink on his legs.
Chris Andersen isn’t just a professional basketball player, but he is also known for having ultra-heavy and incredibly colorful ink on a large portion of his body. Both of his arms, his entire chest, neck and throat, a portion of his back and even part of his hands are covered in a bright, colorful inked pattern.
