I am fascinated with the fact that there are lots of youngsters nowadays who are extremely intelligent and considered as genius at their own rights. The skills, intelligence and abilities they have made them achieved some of the world’s youngest records. I listed down below my top 10 picks and favorites among the other youngest world records written in the history.
Emily Baldry, five, from Chippenham, south-west England, dug up a 160-million-year-old rare fossil: a 130lb (59kg), 40cm Rieneckia odysseus fossi,l during her first organised dig , setting the world record for the Youngest archeologist, according to World Record Academy.
Youngest Cancer Researcher
Angela Zhang, 17, a high school student from Cupertino, Calif., won a $100,000 scholarship from the Siemens Foundation for research that created a tiny particle she likened to a “Swiss army knife of cancer treatments” because of its precision in targeting cancer tumors , setting the world record for the Youngest Cancer Researcher.
Youngest College Professor
Alia Sabur, who was appointed as a full-time faculty Professor at Konkuk University in Seoul, South Korea as research liaison with Stony Brook University set the world record for the youngest College professor. Alicia Sabur was three days shy of her 19th birthday when she became a full pledge university professor. The child prodigy from Northport enrolled at Stony Brook University at age 10 and played clarinet with the Rockland Symphony Orchestra at 11.
Youngest World Map Memorizer
India’s 6-year-old Mohamed Ashik of Noyes Matriculation Hr Sec School, Madurai, memorized and pointed out the name of 195 countries on a plain World Map (91.5 x 58 cm) within 3 minutes.
He also Pointed out 50 countries, when the Judge, questioned him, one by one, in a zip-zap manner.
He answered 50 neighboring countries when the Judge was questioning, one by one, without seeing the plain world map, in a public gathering.
Youngest Person To Discover A Supernova
Kathryn Aurora Gray at age of 10, spotted an exploding star while looking at images of the night sky sent to her by an astronomer friend of the family. The find, formally named Supernova 2010lt, was announced by the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada.
Mexican teenager Andrew Almazan Anaya,considered a child prodigy for his intellectual precocity sets the world record for the Youngest psychologist at the age of 16. The young man, whose professional expertise made him famous throughout the country, gave an interview in which he explained that he wants to continue his studies in neuroscience and neuropsychology.

Taylor Wilson at the age of 17, spends his time advising the Department of Homeland Security on anti-terrorism tactics, and coordinating with the Department of Energy on nuclear fusion research – which makes him to set the world record for the Youngest nuclear scientist, according to World Record Academy.
At his photo, Taylor Wilson at his young age of 17, built a functioning device that can detect nuclear weapons smuggled in cargo containers. It works via a nuclear fusion reactor that he also built when he was 14.

Thomas Suarez from Los Angeles has been fascinated by computers and technology since kindergarten, and at the tender age of 12, he has already established his own company, CarrotCorp, which has made two iOS apps that are currently in the App Store , setting the world record for the Youngest App Developer, according to World Record Academy.

Christopher Paolini (USA), born 17 November 1983, is the youngest author of a bestselling book series. With sales in excess of 20 million copies as of May 2011, the Inheritance Cycle, which consists of the books Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr, and Inheritance continues to be a firm favorite of fantasy fans the world over.
The first book in the series, Eragon, was made into a movie (released 2006). Only bestsellers are considered in this category. Although other, even younger authors have succeeded in publishing book series none has achieved anything approaching the phenomenal sales figures enjoyed by Christopher Paolini and so cannot be considered for the record of youngest author of a bestselling book series.
Youngest Person To Be A Professional Video Gamer
Born on 6 May 1998, “Lil Poison” (USA, aka Victor De Leon III) picked up a Dreamcast Controller at the age of two, to play NBA 2K. He entered his first competition – a Halo tournament in his native New York, USA – aged four, and was competing in the Major League Games one year later. In 2005, aged seven, Lil Poison signed an exclusive deal with the organizers of Major League Gaming, and became the youngest signed professional video gamer.
This last one is not included at my top 10 list of young geniuses but I think and believe that its worth your time and attention reading this amazing fact and information.
Youngest Confirmed Mother In Medical History
Lina Medina (born September 27, 1933, in Ticrapo, Huancavelica Region, Peru) is the youngest confirmed mother in medical history, giving birth at the age of five years, seven months and 17 days.
Medina’s son weighed 2.7 kg (6.0 lb; 0.43 st) at birth and was named Gerardo after her doctor. Gerardo was raised believing that Medina was his sister, but found out at the age of 10 that she was his mother. He grew up healthy but died in 1979 at the age of 40 of a bone marrow disease.
Although the case was called a hoax by some, a number of doctors over the years have verified it based on biopsies, X rays of the fetal skeleton in utero, and photographs taken by the doctors caring for her.
